We baked Christmas cookies for Santa this morning! And the boys are on a sugar high! They had so much fun making, decorating, and eating their cookies and decorations. Now, they are singing Christmas carols to each other at the top of their lungs, in their cribs, instead of napping. We're looking forward to Santa's visit tonight!

Portraits of the Boys
The boys are 31 months now. This was the easiest portrait session I have had with them yet. Eli loved smiling for the camera and saying "cheese" as loud as he could, everytime. They are really excited about Christmas. They keep telling me that they are good boys so "Christmas will come down the chimney" and bring them presents. I am getting larger and larger myself as the end of February quickly approaches. We all have lots to look forward to!

Halloween
Happy Halloween! The boys had a great time trick-or-treating this year. Ned and I wanted all of us to go as the Incredibles, but as soon as the boys saw the Cars costumes at the store, there were no other options. Zach was Lightning McQueen and Eli was Tow Mater. We went trick-or-treating with Uncle Greg, Aunt Sally, Alexi, and Laine. The boys were thrilled to get so much candy, as you can imagine.

Camping Trip
Daddy took Eli and Zach on his semi-annual camping trip this year. The boys had a great time on the trip with Grandpa, Daddy, Uncle Greg, and everyone else. They loved sleeping in the tent. They were very proud of themselves when they woke up Sunday morning and realized they slept all night in their sleeping bags in the tent. Zach and Eli loved running all over the camp site with their dump trucks, throwing rocks in the water, playing with all the other kids, and jumping around in their tent. They also enjoyed the good camp food and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
